To mark the 100th anniversary of the birth and the 20th anniversary of the death of Professor Stjepko Težak, the academic and professional conference “Stjepko Težak – Language, Teaching and Local Heritage” will take place on 3–4 December 2026, organised jointly by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb.

Alongside topics related to the Croatian language, Croatian language teaching methodology, and dialectology, we particularly encourage submissions focusing on film in education and film teaching methodology, areas to which Professor Težak made a significant contribution.

Participants are invited to submit their proposals, including the title and an abstract of up to 300 words, by 20 October 2026 to tezak2026@m.ffzg.hr. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by 30 October 2026.
