Scientific and artistic research activities
The Centre’s activities are based on interdisciplinary research in the field of audiovisual arts, including film and audiovisual literacy. The aim is to connect researchers and artists of diverse profiles and to encourage the development, visibility, and application of research and artistic outcomes.

Activities include:

• Developing and implementing scientific, artistic, and professional projects
• Providing advisory support in preparing project applications for national and international calls
• Organising cultural and artistic events
• Disseminating results through publications, conferences, artistic events, and online channels
• Providing research infrastructure, audiovisual collections, databases, and technical resources
• Implementing activities aimed at strengthening the Centre’s scientific and artistic production.

Professional and teaching activities
The Centre contributes to the development of teaching and professional development in the field of audiovisual arts, as well as to the education of students and young researchers.

Activities include:

• Modernising course content and study programmes
• Developing educational and artistic programs
• Conducting workshops, seminars, summer schools, and other forms of professional development
• Providing support, guidance, and mentorship to students and early‑career researchers in their scientific and artistic work.

Cooperation and partner networks
One of the Centre’s key objectives is to develop national and international cooperation in the field of audiovisual arts and film literacy.

• Establishing partnerships with domestic and international institutions
